Everyday chocolate mug cake recipe using wheat flour.Both the kids are fond of mug cakes.So I make it every now and then and this is the recipe I follow and it comes out so good.
I have shared a pic of this mug cake long back in instagram and many of you had asked the recipe for it.I had actually modified this recipe to derive a healthy version of it as I make this mug cake at least twice a month to satisfy their chocolate cravings.

Everyday chocolate mug cake recipe
Dry mix:
- 4 tbsp wheat flour
- 4 tbsp cane sugar
- 2 tbsp coco powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
Wet mix:
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence

To a mixing bowl – add wheat flour,cane sugar,coco powder.

Add baking soda to it.Mix well using a whisk.

Add milk and oil to it.

Add vanilla essence to it. Whisk well so that there are no lumps.

The batter should be smooth and creamy.Take a oven safe mug,Transfer batter to oven safe mug.

Bake in preheated oven at 180 deg C for 20 mins.Insert a toothpick and check – if it comes out clean then the cake is done. If its sticky then baking for few more mins.

Serve warm!
- The mug is quite huge one and so both the kids shared the cake.Make sure to use only oven safe mugs.
- If your mug is small then pour in 2 mugs and bake.The batter rises well so choose a mug accordiginly.
- The timing may vary so check after 15 mins then proceed accordingly.
- I have given timing for oven and not microwave.
- The cake is mildly sweet, if you prefer you can increase sweetness.I used wheat flour and cane sugar but you can replace it with white flour and regular sugar itself.
- You can add a 1tbso of choco chips for a more richer version.
